We do our best in answering any questions you might have about insurance, and treatment options. From the moment you call to schedule your appointment, our focus is on you and your needs and our staff is here to help you.
Dr. Alemar and the staff are constantly improving on their education and skills in order to provide you the best dental care possible in the CSRA. All of our personnel are CPR certified and up to date on the latest sterilization and infection control measures and OSHA requirements. Through seminars and continuing education, we receive updates on the latest technologies and developments in dentistry. We are constantly striving to be the very best we can be and the benefits are visible to our patients by providing the most comprehensive care for you and your family.
Arlene George, RDH
Arlene is an MCG graduate and has been working as a Dental Hygienist for over 25 years. A seasoned Hygienist, Arlene provides a complete at home preventative program for her patients, and will give you tips on how to care for your teeth. Arlene is very knowledgeable and communicates with her patients during every step of your treatment.
Arlene has two adult children, who both reside in Athens, Ga, and also has a three-year-old grandson. She enjoys traveling, theatrical performances and other artistic events. Alrlene is also a member of the CSRA humane society.
Leigh Brown, RDH
Leigh is a south Atlanta native, and has made Augusta her home. A graduate of MCG with a B.S. in Dental Hygiene, Leigh is a highly accomplished individual, with a second degree in Biology from the University of West Georgia as well. She is the newest member of our staff, and she brings an energetic personality to our practice. Leigh has our patient’s best interest at heart and will provide you with information about the services we offer that might fit your needs.
Leigh loves animals and has a Boston terrier named Chloe. When she is not working or caring for her pup, she spends her free time reading. Leigh also loves to travel.
Petra Reese, Dental Assistant
A native of Germany, Petra completed her training in Germany and has been with Dr. Alemar for approximately 15 years. Petra is very dedicated to the success of the practice, mostly because she is dedicated to the well being of every single individual that sits in any of the treatment chairs in our practice. If you are a patient of Dr. Alemar, you know that Petra will make sure you are comfortable even during the not so comfortable procedures.
Petra has two adult children, Lateefah and Jermaine. She is active in her church and has participated in mission work with her church near and far, including Honduras. She enjoys reading, music and the arts, but nothing compares to the love she has for teeth.
Astrid Araque, Dental Assistant
A native from Colombia. Astrid completed her training in Bogota Colombia in Dentistry in 1990. She practiced Dentistry in Colombia for 17 years. She moved to Florida in 2006 and practiced as a dental assistant for 4 years. In 2011 she decided to move to Augusta GA. She has a great passion for Dentistry.
Anita Brooks, Office Manager
A native of Germany, Anita has worked in the office since 1988 under the leadership of Dr. Hill. Anita is a multi-talented, caring person, and she handles a great deal of administrative responsibilities for our practice, including appointments, accounts receivable, accounts payable and insurance management, and can help you with any questions you might have in these areas.
Anita and her husband Glenn, have an adult son, Michael. Anita has lived in Augusta for over 30 years and on her free time she enjoys relaxing with her family. She also loves to collect German dolls, clocks and anything with a ladybug on it.
To us, you are more than a patient; you are a person. We sincerely care about you and your well being, we will provide you with all the necessary information and advice required to help you maintain a preventive program for healthier teeth. Helping our patients make an educated decision when it comes to their teeth is important to us.
